Ratoon Stud breeds for excellence in temperment and health. We also aim to produce rats with very good type as rats deserve to be as rat like as possible.

Ratoon rattery has been around for 10 years and we aim to produce healthy, happy and well tempermented rats. We are a member of the National Fancy Rat Society, North of England Rat Society (founder member of) and Yorkshire Rat Club.
Ratoon became a registered stud in 2007 due to the success of Ratoon Wilma Blue Pebbles achieveing Best Opposite Age under Ann Storey as a kitten, and the success of her Daughter Ratoon Sound achieving Best In Show at only 7 weeks old under Sandra Mobbs.
I would like to say a massive thankyou to Lisa at Halcyon stud for giving me so much support and for Galaxy - the rat who helped me achieve the above and who will always have a place in my heart. I would also like to say a massive thankyou to Alison Campbell (Shunamite Stud) who has been there from the start and I have known for a good 10 years - there has always been room for me in your life and your support whether it be practical or emotional has made me a better person and better breeder.
