About Me


My name is Lizzi McIntee and I have been rat keeping for over 8 years now. I am 20 years old and currently doing a degree in Applied Pyschology which I enjoy.


I went to my first show when I was about 13 I believe, and was one of the founder members of NERS. I had a break from showing for a little while however due to the nature of work and educational commitments.

Now I am a little older, have some more time and knowledge. I have decided to start breeding. I had a litter a few years ago which was planned with rats from breeders which left me amazed and something I knew I wanted to take up properly when I had the opportunity....which now I do:)!

I plan to breed for BE and RE russian blue point siamese and Russian blue/russian blue agouti. I am to encoporate dumbo and rex into all these varieties in good time.

I would like to take this as an opportunity to say a great big thankyou to all the breeders who have helped me out and/ or given me their rats to start breeding with. Thankyou for giving me the chance to look after your beautiful rats and for your wealth of knowledge you have been prepared to share with me.   For this I am forever grateful..
